Mr. Olson practices in all areas of personal estate planning, probate, wills and trusts, and related California state and Federal tax law. He is a 1950 graduate of the University of Southern California Law School, where he became a member of Phi Alpha Delta.
In January, 1971, Mr. Olson took time from his Pasadena law practice to accept the position of Deputy Assistant to the Assistant Attorney General of the Internal Security Division. In June, 1972, he was appointed by the President of the United States and confirmed by the United States Senate as an Assistant Attorney General and head of the Internal Security Division of the Department of Justice. He returned to his Pasadena practice in 1974.
Mr. Olson is active in the Pasadena Community and has served on numerous community enhancement projects.
